Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer looking for a stable, local role with a growing company?
We are recruiting an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing team based in LE18.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who wants a predominantly local service role, with around 99% of work within 30 minutes of the office and very little long-distance travel.

The Role
As an Air Conditioning Service Engineer, you will be responsible for attending customer sites to carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repairs on a range of air conditioning systems.
You will be working across both commercial and domestic environments, diagnosing issues and ensuring systems are operating safely, efficiently and reliably.
This is a service and maintenance-focused position, so we are particularly interested in engineers with a strong background in fault finding and reactive repairs, as well as planned maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain a range of air conditioning systems
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Attend reactive breakdowns and diagnose faults
- Carry out fault finding, repairs and remedial works
- Work on split, multi-split, VRV and VRF systems
- Identify system issues and recommend appropriate repairs
- Carry out system checks and performance testing
- Complete service reports, job sheets and relevant documentation
- Ensure all work is completed in line with current regulations and company standards
- Maintain a professional and tidy working environment
- Deliver excellent customer service when attending client sites
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years' experience within the air conditioning industry
- Strong experience in AC servicing and maintenance
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on split, multi-split, VRV and/or VRF systems
- F-Gas Category 1
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable and customer-focused
- Able to travel to the LE18 office each morning

Engineers are required to make their own way to the LE18 office each morning, where you will collect a fully equipped company van before heading out to your first job.
The vast majority of work is extremely local, with approximately 99% of jobs within a 30-minute drive of the office.
There is therefore very little long-distance travel involved.
