Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Hairdresser role based in Ware, Hertfordshire. The Hairdresser will be responsible for providing hair cutting, styling, and care services to clients, including those experiencing hair loss. Day-to-day responsibilities will include consulting with clients to identify their needs, tailoring hairstyles and wig cuts to suit individual preferences, and maintaining a professional and compassionate approach in private consultation settings. The Hairdresser will also assist clients in choosing suitable wigs or hairpieces and provide routine wig maintenance if required.

Qualifications

• Competency in hair cutting, styling, coloring, and wig customization
• Experience in customer service and consultation, including understanding varied client needs
• Knowledge of handling and maintaining wigs, including modacrylic fiber and human hair systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail, creativity, and a commitment to providing exceptional client care
• Ability to work independently and maintain a welcoming and professional salon environment
• Previous experience in hairdressing, with certification or relevant qualifications
• Experience working with hair loss clients or knowledge of hair loss treatments is an advantage
• A positive, empathetic, and patient demeanor to create a comfortable experience for clients
