Job Description We are looking for an Accounts Manager to join our Exeter branch at Haines Watts Western. What you’ll be doing: Assist the Senior Management team and Directors in delivery of statutory accounts preparation Full Accounts role including Charities and NFP Management and delivery of accounts assignments Oversight of workflow and management of team Taking lead role on audit assignments from planning to completion Review audit files ahead of Director review Building and sustaining key relationships with clients Ad-hoc project work About you as Accounts Manager: ACA / ACCA qualification with practice experience Experience as a manager or overseeing a small team Able to multitask and prioritise Work under pressure to tight and conflicting deadlines Experience managing accounts assignments including planning, preparation, completion and client delivery Commercial awareness Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting Excellent verbal and written communication Experience using IRIS and My Work Papers (desirable) Job Details / Benefits: 37.5 hours per week Hybrid working (2 days home / 3 days office) Enhanced holiday allowance – 25 days (pro rata) (and opportunity to buy more) Birthday leave take a…
