The Accountant duties will include:
- Preparation of accounts and tax work
- Assist in bookkeeping and VAT
- Ensure all month-end submissions and deadlines are met
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members
- Handle day-to-day queries
- Perform other duties in support of the practice as required by the partners
Your experience should include:
- Two years previous accounting experience is preferred
- Ability to work independently to strict deadlines
- Punctual, reliable, and excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bookkeeping software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
- Experience with the Iris accounts production suite is advantageous but not essential
