Hain Celestial, producers of many household food brands such as Hartley’s, Ella’s Kitchen, Robertson’s, Sun-Pat, Yorkshire Provender, Cully & Sully, Linda McCartney’s, Farmhouse Fare and many more, are seeking a highly driven Financial Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team in Leeds. Acting as a strategic partner to senior commercial leaders, you will play a pivotal role in shaping commercial decisions, driving revenue and EBITDA growth, and enhancing financial performance across multiple categories. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys influencing business strategy, and excels at providing high-impact financial insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Partnering & Strategic Insight: Partner with the Senior Commercial Team to provide actionable insight that drives strategic decision-making. Lead commercial initiatives and profit improvement projects. Attend weekly trading meetings, monthly exec reviews, and customer performance meetings. Support and challenge business stakeholders to unlock value and improve margin performance.
  • Financial Reporting & Period-End: Lead period-end postings for sales-related revenue and expenses, including sales, standard costs, and trade investment. Support management accounting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Commercial Analysis: Analyse brand revenue and profitability across multiple categories. Produce sales performance commentary and evaluate promotional effectiveness. Build and enhance business models (e.g., EBITDA by brand/factory).
  • Costing, Planning & Forecasting: Lead the UK costing process and support CPI calculations. Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP), including Integrated Reconciliation. Manage annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles, partnering with senior NAMs and the Sales Director. Present insights to the UK Exec and Group stakeholders. Maintain short-term forecasts to support agile decision-making.
  • Systems & Process Improvement: Support the implementation of a new sales forecasting system. Help automate reporting using BI tools. Contribute to transforming divisional finance structures into a simplified, functional model. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance and commercial teams.
  • Development & Stakeholder Management: Build strong internal relationships, supporting and challenging stakeholders across procurement, supply chain, finance, and commercial teams. Own and deliver a personal development plan with your line manager.

About You

Essential Qualifications & Experience: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Strong commercial finance experience, ideally within FMCG. Proven ability to lead projects and deliver profit-driving initiatives. Strong analytical capability with experience translating data into meaningful commercial insights. Experience supporting period-end and management accounting processes.

Preferred: Professional qualification (CIMA / ACCA). Experience with ERP systems and BI tools.
