At Hain Celestial UK, we make food that people love and trust. We’re now looking for a Technical Account Technologist to join our growing Technical team in a hybrid role supporting our Histon and Fakenham sites.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career - or a graduate with the right technical or quality background - who wants to build a long-term career in Food Technical, Compliance and Quality Systems within a market-leading FMCG business.

The Role

You’ll play a vital part in supporting our UK Technical function and working closely with our retail customers. From managing customer portals and audit data to helping prepare our sites for BRC and retailer audits, this is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will learn fast and develop quickly.

You’ll work with some of the biggest retailers in the UK while supporting famous household brands — giving you exposure that few early-career roles can offer.

What You’ll Be Doing

Technical & Quality Support

  • Manage UK retailer technical portals, keeping certifications, site data and contacts fully up to date
  • Track and report technical KPIs for key customers
  • Support internal audits across our manufacturing and distribution sites
  • Manage Impact reporting (Palm, Soy, Cocoa and sustainability data)
  • Maintain BRC and Code of Practice documentation and audit databases
  • Support site teams during customer and BRC audits
  • Help develop and improve group quality standards and procedures

Health & Safety

  • Support compliance with Group H&S policies and procedures to ensure safe working environments

Data & Decision Support

  • Provide accurate, timely data to support technical and operational decision-making

Collaboration

  • Work closely with site teams, senior managers and retail partners
  • Represent the Technical function in a professional, confident way

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Experience conducting internal audits
  • Experience using UK retailer systems and Codes of Practice
  • Experience working in a Technical or Quality function

Desirable

  • Degree qualified (Food Science, Quality, or similar)
  • HACCP Level 3
  • Lead Auditor trained

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Well organised with the ability to juggle deadlines
  • Confident communicator
  • Problem-solver with a proactive mindset
  • Comfortable using databases, portals and technical systems
  • Professional and discreet
  • A team player who enjoys working across departments

Location & Working Pattern

  • Hybrid role based at either:
    • Histon, Cambridgeshire
    • Fakenham, Norfolk
  • Regular travel between UK sites required
  • Some flexibility needed around audits and peak periods

What can we offer you?

  • Competitive salary / rate of pay
  • 25 days annual leave, plus 8 Bank Holiday
  • Option to purchase additional annual leave
  • A day off work to support our charity partners
  • Flexible working options
  • Pension
  • Medical benefit
  • And access to a HUB that offers many discounts from a range of suppliers and retailers
