The Role
Reporting to the Customer Controller – Sainsbury’s and Customer Controller – Hot Eat Desserts, this Customer Executive role offers a fantastic opportunity to build your career within a high-performing and passionate commercial team.
You will be responsible for managing and supporting the day-to-day trading relationships with Sainsbury’s and other customers, including:
- Supporting the delivery of CPI’s, annual terms, promotional planning and execution
- Conducting forecasting and analysis to strengthen P&Ls
- Collaborating across functions such as Category, NPD, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Commercial Finance
- Assisting with new product launches, in-store activities, and joint business planning
- Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships to provide excellent customer service
- Managing a diverse portfolio including Grocery, Chilled, Frozen, and Hot Eat Desserts
- Potentially taking P&L ownership for smaller categories or customers

What We’re Looking For:
- A degree-educated candidate (preferred)
- Experience in sales within UK Grocery retail, with Sainsbury’s experience being a plus
- Experience managing both branded and own-label product portfolios
- Strong commercial and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- A proactive, curious, and collaborative mindset, not afraid to trial, test, and learn
