We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our Group Finance team based in Leeds. This is a hybrid role offering a great opportunity to develop strong management accounting and business partnering skills in a fast-paced, evolving business.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will provide financial support to the Controlling team and wider business, helping to deliver accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and robust financial control. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and wants to make a real impact.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in FMCG or Retail, who can demonstrate how they have added value through strong financial insight, organisation, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities- Ownership of key month-end, quarter-end and year-end processes
- Trade spend, consumer marketing and overheads reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Ad-hoc financial analysis and support
- Produce and maintain daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
- Circulate reports and respond to business queries
- Support the sales team with customer returns and reporting
- Support budget and forecast cycles
- Excel-based modelling, reporting and version control
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Support financial controls and governance processes
- Provide flexible, ad-hoc finance support to the wider team
You will be a confident, adaptable finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment with new systems and processes.
Skills & Experience- ACA / CIMA / ACCA qualification (part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience)
- At least 2 years’ relevant finance experience
- Strong advanced Excel skills
- Experience in FMCG or Retail (highly desirable)
- Commercially aware with a curious, analytical mindset
- Able to build strong relationships across finance and the wider business
- A collaborative team player
- Comfortable working flexibly in a changing environment
- Knowledgeable in costings and financial analysis
- Hybrid working based from our Leeds office (Templar House)
- Exposure to a broad range of finance activities
