Our client is an established and expanding construction company, and Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position of Payroll Assistant.

The Role

The Payroll Assistant will provide accurate administrative support related to compiling and processing employee weekly and monthly payroll.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Compiling payroll for 300+ personnel
  • Timesheet reconciliation
  • Resolving payroll queries
  • Processing and calculating expenses and mileage allowances
  • Accurate data entry into Excel spreadsheets
  • Calculating SSP, maternity pay, holiday pay, etc.
  • Maintaining individual payroll files and documentation

Candidate

You will have at least 1 year of previous payroll administration experience.

Applicants should be proficient in Excel and have experience using payroll software systems.

You will be highly motivated, eager to learn, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Hours of Work

Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (1-hour lunch break)
