Our client is a leading fire protection company providing fire detection and suppression equipment. Due to their continued expansion, Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position of Fire Extinguisher and Alarm Engineer.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Fire Extinguisher Engineer (BAFE Certified), ideally with Fire Alarm experience. Full training will be provided on Fire Alarm systems.
Role
You will operate as a field service engineer responsible for planned and reactive maintenance and inspection of fire extinguishers and alarm systems in the South London area. Duties include:
- Repair and fault find fire suppression and alarm systems.
- Replace failed and faulty devices.
- Replace extinguishers and Fire Safely Ancillary products, emergency signage, etc.
- Upsell and cross-sell Fire Safely Ancillary Products.
- Schedule your own works daily/weekly.
Candidate
You should be an experienced Fire Extinguisher or Alarm engineer with at least three years of experience. This is a superb opportunity for a fire extinguisher engineer to train and upskill to become a fire alarm and emergency lighting engineer, as full training will be provided.
Must have BAFE certification for work on fire extinguishers, hold a UK Driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
