Haileybury is seeking to appoint a creative, committed and experienced Social Media Officer to take the lead in managing our social media presence.
As part of the Marketing team, the post-holder will be responsible for creating engaging and on-brand content that supports the School’s communication strategy and enhances its reputation with prospective families, current pupils, alumni, and the wider community. This role is vital to ensuring consistent and impactful messaging that reflects the values, achievements, and daily life of the School, while helping to meet pupil recruitment and engagement objectives.
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of major social media platforms and how to tailor content for each. They will have demonstrable experience in creating digital content including video, photography, graphics and written copy, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and tone.
Haileybury is an outstanding independent co-educational boarding and day school of around 900 pupils aged 11 to 18. Established in 1862, the School is situated on a beautiful 500-acre estate in Hertfordshire. Haileybury has an outstanding reputation in the UK and internationally and was judged “excellent in all areas” by ISI in October 2022.
