HAIL is partnering with a European growth equity firm on the search for a Receptionist / Team Assistant to join their London office. This is a varied, fast-paced role with a roughly 60–70% team assistant / 30–40% reception split, plus EA cover during holiday and absence periods.

Responsibilities:

  • Front-of-house: greeting clients, managing calls, the info inbox, and meeting room logistics
  • Office management: keeping the space immaculate, liaising with building management and external suppliers, and managing inventory
  • Team support: maintaining team information, arranging gifts, organising the weekly team lunch and external catering
  • Diary management for two senior associates
  • EA cover during holidays and absences
  • Supporting the Events Manager with internal and external events (approx. 3 trips per year, 1–4 days each)

Role Requirements:

  • 1–2 years' experience in a similar reception, office assistant, or team support role
  • Warm, confident, and professional manner
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), plus Teams and Zoom
  • Exceptional organisation and attention to detail
  • Discreet and trustworthy with confidential information
  • Comfortable stepping up to EA-level work when covering
