About us: Haig Housing is a long-established charity based in London with a presence across the UK. We are the largest veterans housing charity, providing houses for over 1500 veterans and their families. We put people at the centre of everything we do – our beneficiaries and staff. About the role: The Housing officer role is remote, and travelling is required throughout the M25 and surrounding areas. You must have access to a vehicle for visiting our estates and supporting our residents. Additionally, you will be provided with IT equipment for home working as necessary. You will be supported by our Head Office in Victoria, London and will attend regular team meetings.

  • Housing Experience – You must have previous experience in a housing role, ideally within social housing, tenancy management, or a related field.
  • Self-Starter – You’ll need to be highly motivated, proactive, and able to manage your workload independently.
  • Excellent Communication Skills – The ability to engage confidently with tenants, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset – A flexible, solutions-focused approach to tackling challenges and supporting residents.
