Our IT team is driving the digital transformation of the European HVAC division of Haier. This role is broad within a small team. It will work with users from all the regional HVAC offices as part of that Digital Transformation program. One of the areas you will be interested in and involved in is systems integration work as we are acquiring businesses within Europe.
Role Description: As a Business Systems Analyst, you will bridge the gap between the business and IT. You will gather requirements, analyze processes, design and deliver solutions based on cloud‑based enterprise applications, supporting the users all the way. Your contribution will be essential to ensure that the implemented solutions effectively support the company’s operational and strategic business and operational needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work across the business to gather and analyze functional and business requirements.
- Produce functional/process/technical documentation (use cases, flow charts, workflows).
- Hands on prototype, configure and test applications in close collaboration with users.
- Collaborate with distributed development teams & consultants to design scalable solutions.
- Conduct functional testing with key users (UAT) and support end users during the go‑live.
- Communication with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment between needs and solutions.
- Manage application maintenance on existing systems (bug fixing and enhancements).
Relevant degree in technical or scientific disciplines (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics with an information systems focus).
At least 3 years of experience in similar roles (BA/SA, Application Consultant).
Experience working with data and SQL, import/export, data validation and data analytics.
Experience with at least one enterprise platform (ERP, CRM, or vertical systems).
Excellent communication, listening, problem‑solving, and results‑oriented skills.
Preferred Requirements:
- Knowledge of modeling tools such as UML and BPMN.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, Tableau).
- Basic understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and API‑based architectures.
- Curiosity toward cloud technologies and data‑driven methodologies.
- Basic systems configuration skills.
