CNC Miller / CNC Turner – Programmer / Setter / Operator Location: Blackburn & Surrounding Areas Salary: £18.00 – £21.00 per hour DOE Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Haich Recruitment is seeking experienced CNC Millers and CNC Turners for permanent opportunities with established precision engineering and manufacturing companies in Blackburn and the surrounding areas. We are particularly interested in skilled machinists with strong CNC setting and operating experience, with opportunities suited to those experienced in CNC programming, precision milling, turning and multi-axis machining. KEY REQUIREMENTS • Proven experience as a CNC Miller or CNC Turner within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment. • CNC Turning: Experience with Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes, particularly Citizen sliding-head, Miyano, Mazak, Nakamura or similar machinery, would be highly advantageous. • CNC Milling: Experience setting and operating CNC milling machinery, with programming experience particularly desirable. • Multi-axis machining, sliding-head turning or complex precision component manufacturing experience would be an advantage. • Confident independently setting and operating CNC machinery, including tooling, offsets, changeovers and programme adjustments. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacture components to required tolerances. • Experience carrying out first-off inspections and dimensional checks using precision measuring equipment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components. THE ROLE • Set and operate CNC milling or turning machinery according to your experience and the position available. • Manufacture precision-engineered components from technical drawings and specifications. • Carry out tooling changes, programme adjustments and machining prove-outs. • Monitor machining processes and maintain dimensional accuracy. • Work independently and as part of an experienced engineering team.
