The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
Hague and Dixon Solicitors LLP are seeking to recruit a full or part-time legal secretary for the York office. There is scope for progression within the firm for the right candidate.
The position shall include but is not limited to:
- Preparation of correspondence and documents through audio typing and word processing
- Use of case management system
- Receiving and directing telephone calls
- Greeting clients on arrival and directing them to the appropriate fee earner
- Switchboard duties
- Maintaining diaries and making appointments when required
- Photocopying documents
- Outgoing post
- File management in accordance with Quality Procedures Manual, CQS and Lexcel requirements to include filing and other clerical duties
- Compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct and SRA Accounts Rules
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all firm and client documentation and information
- To maintain high standards in the processing of client work, both in respect of professional standards and client care
- Liaising with clients
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Ideally, a candidate would have a willingness to learn
- A desire to work in an office environment
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent word processing skills and computer literacy
- Reliable
- Trustworthy
- Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
