We are seeking an experienced and passionate Freelance Health and Social Care Tutor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by equipping adult learners with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the care sector.
Role Overview
You will deliver engaging and informative training sessions (online and/or in person) to adult learners, supporting them throughout their learning journey. This includes teaching core subject content, guiding coursework and assessing progress to ensure learners achieve their qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in health and social care, such as Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate
- Provide high-quality teaching across key health and social care topics
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback and support
- Ensure delivery meets industry standards and awarding body requirements
- Support learners with queries and ongoing guidance
- Maintain accurate records, including registers and learner portfolios
Requirements
- Proven experience in the health and social care sector
- Relevant qualification (Level 3 or above)
- Teaching or training qualification (e.g. AET, PTLLS or equivalent)
- Assessing qualification (e.g. A1, CAVA or equivalent)
- Strong communication and learner engagement skills
- Confident using digital tools and virtual learning platforms
- Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback
