Haggerty Jaques is working with a leading law firm to recruit an experienced lawyer into its Construction team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a specialist construction lawyer to progress their career in a highly-regarded firm with genuine long-term prospects and a supportive culture.

The Construction team has a wide-ranging practice spanning both contentious and non-contentious construction matters. The lawyers here advise on projects across the full spectrum of the industry - from traditional development work to large-scale energy and infrastructure projects.

You will gain exposure to a number of interesting and growing sectors, including:

  • Student accommodation
  • Private rental sector
  • Major energy and infrastructure projects
  • Complex disputes (litigation, arbitration, adjudication, and enforcement)

Clients include listed companies, developers, banks, local authorities, educational institutions, contractors, specialist sub-contractors and consultants — both in the UK and internationally.

The opportunity

The firm is looking to recruit a construction law specialist (4+ PQE) with expertise in either contentious or non-contentious construction law — or ideally, a mix of both.
