This is a brilliant opportunity to join a highly regarded Employment team within a national firm that continues to go from strength to strength. Sitting within a wider Commercial offering, the team advises a diverse client base across both the private and public sectors, offering genuinely varied and interesting work.
You will be joining a collaborative, well-established team where you’ll be trusted with real responsibility from the outset, whilst still having the support and structure around you to continue developing your technical and commercial skillset.
This is a broad employment role offering exposure across the full spectrum of work. You will advise clients ranging from business owners and HR professionals through to in-house legal teams and senior executives, supporting them on day-to-day advisory matters as well as more complex strategic issues.
Your work will include a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters. You’ll be involved in employment tribunal claims, including complex discrimination and whistleblowing cases, alongside advisory work covering disciplinary and grievance processes, dismissals, redundancies and restructures. You will also support on corporate transactions, including TUPE, and have the opportunity to become involved in workplace investigations.
Alongside your legal work, you will be encouraged to build strong client relationships and play an active role in business development, as well as working closely with colleagues across other teams to deliver a seamless service to clients.

You will be a qualified employment lawyer with between 2 and 6 years’ PQE, with a solid grounding across both contentious and non-contentious employment work.
You will be confident managing your own caseload, with the ability to deliver clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail will be key, as will the ability to build relationships with both clients and colleagues.
Just as importantly, you will enjoy working as part of a team, be keen to get involved in the wider success of the practice, and be motivated to continue learning and developing your career.
