As part of the Project Support Centre Team, you will ensure that we provide a market leading field based Technical Support Service to both our Sales Teams and Customers for electrical installation system products and tools including software. When not working in the field, you will be expected to support the Technical department by assisting with phone-based inquiries.
As a Technical Support Engineer – Field Based H/F/X you will report to Pre‑Post‑Sales Support – Team Leader in the Sales department based in Telford for a Permanent contract.
What you will do?
- Deliver on‑site services, including equipment erection, testing, modifications, and rectification work
- Provide nationwide telephone‑based technical support, ensuring a high‑quality customer experience when not deployed in the field
- Assist sales teams and customers by supplying accurate technical specifications and guidance on product selection
- Act as a technical expert during sales visits, providing support to the sales team and building trust with customers
What about you?
- City & Guilds / HNC or other relevant Electrical experience
- Experienced in working in a site environment
- Relevant CSCS Card to enable working on our equipment at sites
- Customer driven and great communication skills
- Desire for personal learning & development
