You will report to the Health & Safety Team Leader in the Manufacturing based in Telford for a Permanent contract. Reporting to the H&S Manager, you'll take a proactive, handsâon approach to improving safety, working conditions, and environmental performance. You'll work closely with shopâfloor teams and lead the implementation of practical action plans.
What you will do?
- Ensure compliance and validate safety documentation for work equipment
- Investigate workplace incidents and occupational health issues
- Design and deliver engaging H&S training
- Carry out risk assessments and specific hazard analyses e.g. COSHH
- Conduct H&S audits and site inspections
- Assist in the accreditation of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001
- Perform environmental assessments and coordinate improvement plans
What about you?
- IOSH qualification (or equivalent) in Health & Safety is desirable
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Manufacturing Health & Safety
- Strong knowledge of equipment compliance and corrective actions
- Highly organised, selfâmotivated, with excellent communication and influencing skills
