As a Sales Engineer - Project M/F/D you will report to the Sales Manager in the Project sales department based in South for a Permanent contract.

What you will do?

  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with targeted Key Account Installers, ensuring the company’s solutions are front‑of‑mind throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Product Promotion: Introduce, demonstrate, and present the company’s electrical products and solutions, effectively communicating technical features, performance advantages, and long‑term value/benefits.
  • Project Pipeline Management: Identify, track, and manage Project opportunities from tender to Initial design through to project completion. Maintain accurate progress and visibility using CRM project milestones and reporting tools.
  • Sales Expertise: Provide high‑quality advice to Installers, supporting tender and design requirements. Ensure that all project opportunities are followed up on providing accurate feedback through forecasting on where we are from an order perspective.
  • Market Awareness: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving technologies to identify opportunities and ensure the company remains competitive and relevant.
  • Sales Execution: Drive both open spec and Hager specification-led sales, follow up on project opportunities, collaborating with the wider team to ensure Hager project win rate grows.

What are the recruitment stages?

  • You will be invited for a first interview with the hiring manager & the recruiter.
  • A second Interview will be then organized with the N+2 & the HR manager.
