We are looking for a Digital Inclusion Coach to play a key role in delivering a Welsh Government-funded pilot project aimed at assessing and supporting digital inclusion among Hafod customers in line with the Minimum Digital Living Standard (MDLS).

You will work directly with Hafod customers by meeting families in the community to understand their digital needs. You will provide practical digital support and guidance on device setup and connectivity.
Additionally, you will develop families\’ digital skills and confidence by running informal and formal training sessions, both 1-2-1 and group. You will also create resources such as training materials, user guides, and video guides to support the pilot.
A key part of the role involves monitoring and evaluating the work through surveys, case studies, and focus groups.
The role is full-time (36 hours per week) on a six-month contract, with potential extension until 31st March 2026. There is an option for a nine-day fortnight, working out in the community and from regional hubs, with the possibility to work from home.
A driving license and access to a vehicle are desirable due to regular travel within South Wales.
What you\’ll do
- Support at least 20 families through the MDLS pilot.
- Deliver one-to-one and group digital skills sessions.
- Help customers navigate devices, internet connectivity, and online services.
- Create helpful resources like training materials, guides, and videos.
- Capture outcomes, log activities, and support project reporting.
- Collaborate with teams and communicate regularly with project leads.

Where you’ll be
The project funds two roles to deliver the pilot across Hafod services, each responsible for a specific area:
- Service area 1: Bridgend, RCT & Merthyr
- Service area 2: Cardiff (including Newport and Torfaen) and the Vale
