We are looking for a Corporate Governance & Performance Manager to step into a pivotal leadership role at Hafod, where you'll shape governance, drive regulatory excellence, and help lead a culture that positively impacts the lives of our customers and communities. This is an exciting new role which brings together key governance and strategic responsibilities, ensuring our organisation is fit for the future, well governed and informed in its decision making.

The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis (36 hours per week), with the option to work a nine-day fortnight and have a day off every other week! We also embrace hybrid working with a mixture of office based, site-location and home working. A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are desirable for this position as we have multiple sites across South East Wales and travel between sites may be required.

What you'll do:

  • Lead governance excellence at Hafod
  • Get the basics right by managing governance frameworks, regulatory compliance and performance data
  • Connect with you through board leadership, stakeholder engagement, and tenant voice
  • Invest for a better future by supporting performance, risk, and business continuity planning for long-term

What you'll need:

  • You will bring an extensive understanding of corporate governance processes and requirements within the not-for-profit sector with experience in developing a strong service culture.
  • Demonstrable experience of effective liaison with colleagues, outside agencies and key stakeholders to develop effective partnership working alongside a thorough knowledge of the relevant statutory requirements associated with the role.
  • You will have a thorough understanding of the commercial and social environment with a track record of achieving continuous improvement to deliver value for money and efficiency.
