We’re looking for a proactive, organised and compassionate Peripatetic Administration & Operational Support Assistant to join our Care Directorate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast‑paced environment and wants to support high‑quality care across multiple service locations. You will have the opportunity to work flexibly in a blended work environment across care services, Head Office and home working. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Appointment working closely with our Care Leadership Team to ensure our services run smoothly, efficiently and in line with regulatory standards.

What you will be doing:

  • Compliance & Service Support: You will help ensure services meet regulatory and organisational standards by maintaining compliance documents, preparing inspection paperwork, supporting action plans and keeping person‑centred records accurate and up to date.
  • Administrative & Operational Coordination: You’ll provide essential admin support by taking accurate minutes, managing data, preparing reports and meeting packs, maintaining organised records, supporting rota updates and assisting with audits, investigations and complaints.
  • Client Records & Quality Assurance: You’ll keep client information accurate and person‑centred, support routine audits, gather feedback and assist in producing regular quality reports.
  • Financial & Business Support: You will support financial processes such as invoice checks, occupancy tracking and forecasting, maintain referral and admission records, and assist with payroll tasks like timesheet and rota checks.
  • People & Team Administration: You’ll assist with recruitment tasks, maintain staff compliance records, and support team communication and training coordination.

What we are Looking For:

  • Full driving licence with access to a vehicle.
  • Strong education background (NVQ or equivalent in Health & social care will be a bonus) and administrative experience (ideally in care or supported housing).
  • Excellent organisation, time management, and ability to work independently.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Accurate record‑keeping and confident handling of sensitive information.
  • Empathetic, professional, and able to build rapport at all levels.

Salary: £27,238.75 per annum, 36 hrs full time with Flexible working, including the potential to work a 9 day fortnight (subject to operational need).
