The role of Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for H&S across our entire UK business working with a voluntary committee of H&S representatives. You will act as the subject matter expert, maintaining health and safety compliance according to relevant legislation, ensuring we provide a safe working environment across our office, warehouses and mobile and remote environments.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements for consultation within the workforce by facilitating regular Health and Safety Committee meetings.
- Ensure all areas of the business are suitably risk assessed and prioritised according to risk rating.
- Coordination of any new health and safety initiative projects.
- Coach and mentor the H&S Apprentice to see them through their apprenticeship and exposure to relevant H&S topics.
Minimum NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent).
Experience of introducing a safety culture change programme.
Extensive knowledge and experience in conducting all types of risk assessment.
Experience in creation of policies and procedures.
Passionate about challenging the perception of health and safety.
A willingness towards continuous personal development.
Competitive Salary: Enjoy a starting salary of £50,000 - £55,000, with the added potential to earn an annual bonus of up to 10% of your yearly pay.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Core hours of work are 8:45am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, however, flexibility will be required for this role. The role is site based at our office and warehouses in Rugby, Warwickshire.
