Permanent, Site Based, Full Time, 38.75 hours, Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5:30pm

Your new role: We're looking for a Technical Support Technician to join our team, primarily based in our Nottingham workshop, with occasional travel to customer sites. This role combines hands-on technical work, product support, and customer interaction, supporting both internal teams and customers with expert advice, training, and installation guidance. It's ideal for someone with a background in joinery, carpentry, or woodworking looking to step into a more technical and customer-focused role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and product guidance to customers and internal teams
  • Support Area Sales Managers with product specifications and technical queries
  • Assist with build, setup, and preparation of displays, exhibitions, and sales aids in the workshop
  • Deliver product training to customers and colleagues
  • Occasionally visit customer sites to support installations and issue resolution
  • Maintain records using Salesforce CRM, SAP, and internal systems

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Background in woodworking, joinery, or carpentry
  • Strong technical understanding of furniture fittings, hardware, or installation
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in technical support and customer-facing work
  • Ability to balance workshop-based tasks with occasional travel
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce), SAP, or Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence
