Permanent, Site Based, Full Time, 38.75 hours, Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5:30pm

Your new role: We’re looking for a Technical Support Technician to join our team, primarily based in our Nottingham workshop, with occasional travel to customer sites. This role combines hands‑on technical work, product support, and customer interaction, supporting both internal teams and customers with expert advice, training, and installation guidance. It’s ideal for someone with a background in joinery, carpentry, or woodworking looking to step into a more technical and customer‑focused role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and product guidance to customers and internal teams
  • Support Area Sales Managers with product specifications and technical queries
  • Assist with build, setup, and preparation of displays, exhibitions, and sales aids in the workshop
  • Deliver product training to customers and colleagues
  • Occasionally visit customer sites to support installations and issue resolution
  • Maintain records using Salesforce CRM, SAP, and internal systems

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Background in woodworking, joinery, or carpentry
  • Strong technical understanding of furniture fittings, hardware, or installation
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Interest in technical support and customer‑facing work
  • Ability to balance workshop‑based tasks with occasional travel
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce), SAP, or Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence
