As our Site Facilities Apprentice, you'll support the team in maintaining a safe and efficient workplace. You'll gain hands‑on experience in a range of maintenance tasks including repairs, painting and decorating, carpentry, plumbing, grounds maintenance, building upkeep & facilities systems while developing valuable practical skills.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities and What to Expect:

  • Support the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of our site facilities, helping to keep our working environment safe, functional and well presented.
  • Assist with planned and reactive maintenance across office, warehouse and external areas, under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
  • Get involved in practical maintenance tasks such as painting, decorating, carpentry, plumbing, flooring repairs, basic glazing, roofing support, grounds maintenance and fencing.
  • Help maintain facilities systems including access control, CCTV, fire alarms, intruder alarms and other building technologies.
  • Support health, safety and compliance activities, including inspections, contractor documentation, safe working practices and responsible use of tools and equipment.
  • Assist with facilities administration, maintenance records, service visits, stock control, procurement of materials and continuous improvement projects.

Training Outcome

For the right person there will be the possibility of a permanent role on successful completion of this apprenticeship.
