About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will lead our regional distribution strategy — developing new opportunities, strengthening existing partnerships, and delivering impactful growth. You'll work closely with distributors and their customers to build confidence in Haemonetics' IVT portfolio, establish effective go-to-market plans, and ensure excellence in execution. You'll also lead a small, high-performing team of Sales and Clinical Specialists, coordinating closely with our Marketing and Training teams to promote our products and deliver best-in-class customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans for each distributor to drive growth and expand market reach.
- Evaluate and optimize the distribution network through analysis, segmentation, and selection of partners.
- Build and nurture strong multi-level relationships with distributors and key customers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, including new market segments and product launches.
- Provide regular business performance reviews and accurate quarterly forecasts.
- Support pricing strategies, business planning, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Facilitate clinical and product training sessions for distributors and customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product launches and seamless customer experience.
What We're Looking For
Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
Experience:
- 5–10 years of field experience in the healthcare or medical device industry, more specifically in electrophysiology or interventional cardiology (preferred)
- 5+ years in a senior sales, business development, or key account management role.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing distributor networks.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and solution-selling expertise.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, results-driven, and customer-focused.
- Fluent in English; additional European language(s) a plus.
