For our Field Service organization, we are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer & Application Specialist. This is a field-based role. The ideal location for the candidate would be Reading, Yeovil, Bristol triangle.
For South West England & South Wales Region, the incumbent will be a customer-focused and technically motivated Field Service Engineer, who will be responsible for the installation, service, repair and maintenance of our portfolio of devices and services as well as for providing application support for the customers to ensure a correct use of the installed equipment.
Responsibilities:- Installation, proactive and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair services for customers in the above-mentioned region.
- Management of minimal downtime on all Haemonetics systems, through effective training of site personnel and quick problem investigations.
- Organization, coordination and preparation of application trainings.
- Delivery of application training to site personnel to effectively use the medical equipment installed.
- Coordination and delivery of technical training for customer personnel, as well as Haemonetics’ employees.
- Development of strong partnerships with prospective customers by organizing product demos as well as with existing Haemonetics’ customers by constantly promoting our products.
- Degree in technical engineering or technical education with sound technical knowledge or proven experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in a Field Service position or medical device environment or a similar role.
- Impeccable customer service skills and a confident and professional manner in customer-facing environments.
- Technical aptitude to understand, train customers and users on products.
- Excellent mastery of English.
- Flexibility to travel and willingness to overnight.
- Ability to work autonomously in a constantly changing environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Capacity to manage time constraints.
- Demonstrated computer & basic networking skills.
- Driving license.
