What Success Looks Like:

Within six months, your category should be thriving: increased sales, maximized profits, and successful new products. You will master our optimization techniques, revitalize legacy items, and propose expansion strategies that outpace competitors—contributing to making Hadley Designs a dominant Amazon presence. Achieving targets, managing inventory efficiently, and demonstrating rapid learning and hustle are key.

Your Playbook:

Primary Goal: Transform your category into a highly profitable operation.

Key Focus Areas:

• Drive sustainable growth through smart sales, pricing, and advertising strategies
• Use data analytics to optimize listings, pricing, and promotional efforts
• Identify and pitch high-potential product expansion opportunities
• Revive and maintain legacy products for profitability and relevance
• Manage inventory effectively to meet demand, reduce fees, and keep costs low

Daily Responsibilities:

• Analyze sales and marketplace data weekly to refine strategies
• Manage PPC campaigns and keyword optimization to increase visibility and conversions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align efforts and scale operations
• Optimize listings, test pricing strategies, and refine ads for maximum profitability
• Monitor trends, analyze competitors, and brainstorm growth initiatives
• Create SOPs and processes to ensure category efficiency

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Increase net profit by 20% YoY
• Achieve sales targets for 80% of new launches within 6 months
• Grow profit from relaunches by 15% annually
• Maintain legacy product profit drops below 10% YoY
• Limit inventory surcharges to under $1,000/month
• Build a $2.5M pipeline for new products in 2026

Team Collaboration:

• Work daily with Optimization Managers and PPC Specialists
• Participate in weekly meetings with Sales Operations Managers
• Coordinate with Product Development and Supply Chain teams
• Report monthly to Executive Leadership

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of Amazon category management experience, with proven growth success
• Background as a brand owner or e-commerce professional with a track record of building winning portfolios
• Expertise in Seller Central, PPC, keyword ranking, and competitive analysis
• Strong analytical skills, turning data into actionable strategies
