We are currently looking for a Support Worker to join our dedicated team in the Moortown area of Leeds. Our client has kindly provided a quick introduction which will give you a brief overview of their requirements.
As my support worker, you will provide care and support on a 1-1 basis with all aspects of daily living and support. The role will involve clinical care including tracheostomy care and skin care, domestic duties, social support and admin assistance. Your support will be invaluable in helping me to live an independent life.
For this Support Worker position, the following attributes are a must:
- Non-Smoker - Secondary smoke has a negative effect on the client's health.
- English of a high standard in both spoken and written language.
- Confident driver with a clean UK licence that can drive on motorways and new cities (client must be supported to appointments in different cities regularly in their own vehicle).
- Flexibility with working hours.
- Must be able to cook and follow recipes to a high standard.
- Must have strong IT skills to support client with emailing, social media and use of the internet.
- Mental health background (Beneficial).
- Complex care background (Beneficial).
- Must work as part of a team and be able to follow instructions.
- Have an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
- Trustworthy, reliable and punctual.
- Have the Right to Work in the UK.
- Have a caring nature.
