We are currently looking for a Complex Care Worker to join our dedicated team in the Moortown area of Leeds. The client you will be working with is a young female that is very active and enjoys going out for meals, the gym and shopping. As a carer, you will be supporting the client to live their everyday life by advocating for them and supporting her with everyday tasks.
The successful applicant must provide clinical support with:
- Tracheostomy care
- Skin care
- Mental health support
- Personal care domestic tasks
Training will be provided.
Qualifications:
- Non-Smoker – Secondary smoke has a negative effect on the client's health.
- English of a high standard in both spoken and written language as you will be advocating for the client at appointments, over the phone and in meetings.
- Confident driver with a clean UK licence that can drive on motorways and in new cities (client must be supported to appointments in different cities regularly in their own vehicle).
- Must be able to drive manual and automatic cars.
- Flexibility with working hours; the successful applicant must be able to work days, nights and be able to travel for overnight stays for appointments (2/3 days/nights at a time).
- Must be able to cook and follow recipes and instructions to a high standard.
- Must have strong IT skills to support the client with emailing, social media and use of the internet.
- Must work as part of a team and be able to follow instructions.
- Using your initiative with domestic tasks.
- Good time management.
- Have an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
- Punctuality is important along with a good sense of humour.
- Have the Right to Work in the UK.
