We are currently looking for a SUPPORT WORKER to join our dedicated team in the Moortown area of LEEDS. Our client has kindly provided a quick introduction to give a brief overview of their requirements.
Responsibilities
- The role involves providing 1-1 care and support with all aspects of daily living. This includes clinical care such as tracheostomy care and skin care, domestic duties, social support and administrative assistance.
- Your support will be invaluable in helping the client to live an independent life.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Non-Smoker - Secondary smoke has a negative effect on the client’s health.
- English of a high standard in both spoken and written language.
- Confident driver with a clean UK licence that can drive on motorways and in new cities (support to appointments in different cities regularly in client’s own vehicle).
- Flexibility with working hours.
- Ability to cook and follow recipes to a high standard.
- Strong IT skills to support client with emailing, social media and internet use.
- Mental health background (Beneficial).
- Complex care background (Beneficial).
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
