Haddington Dental Lounge, a well-established and reputable dental practice located in East Lothian, just 20 minutes from Edinburgh, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Locum Dentist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician looking to join a thriving practice with an established patient base, providing high-quality mixed dentistry within a supportive and professional environment.

Working Monday to Friday, you will take over the care of an existing patient list from a long-standing dentist, providing continuity of care and building strong relationships with patients who value quality dentistry. This role offers the flexibility of a temporary position, with the potential to develop into a longer-term opportunity for the right clinician.

Monday – Thursday: 9:00am – 5:30pm

About You

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled clinician who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care and becoming a valued member of our team.

  • Valid General Dental Council (GDC) registration and licence to practise in the UK
  • Proven experience providing general dental treatment within a UK dental practice setting
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills with the ability to create appropriate treatment plans
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with patients
  • A commitment to delivering high‑quality, ethical, and patient‑focused care
  • Ability to work effectively within a team while managing your own patient list independently
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy clinical schedule
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining CPD compliance
  • Knowledge of UK dental regulations, infection prevention standards, and clinical governance requirements
