About the Role
Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, you’ll be part of the night shift team responsible for the safe, efficient handling of steel materials. It’s an active, outdoor role where no two nights are the same — bundling steel, loading and unloading, and keeping production flowing.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely using authorised equipment
- Prepare loads for galvanising, receive returned items, and ready them for dispatch
- Check and record bundles using control sheets
- Inspect galvanised steel for quality and flag any issues
- Complete all paperwork accurately to maintain traceability and quality standards
- Keep your work area tidy, safe, and organised
Full training will be provided — all we ask is a strong work ethic and a readiness to work outdoors in all conditions.
About You
- Has experience in yard, labouring, or warehouse work and is confident with tools and equipment
- Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
- Works well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ideally has experience with structural steelwork
- Takes a proactive approach to health, safety, and quality
