As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting technical drawings to fabricate and weld metal components
  • Understanding and working to weld procedures and weld plans
  • Fabricating to a high standard, accurately measuring and working to tolerances
  • Completing all fabrication tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Chargehand, accurately and efficiently
  • Operating fabrication machinery, overhead cranes, and hand tools in line with safety and quality standards
  • Performing steel and aluminium cutting, welding, burning, and grinding to a high standard
  • Welding a variety of materials including carbon steel and aluminium
  • Inspecting your own work to ensure it meets the company’s quality standards
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and on-time project completion

About you:

  • Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder
  • Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and equipment
  • Proficient in MIG and TIG welding, including aluminium welding experience
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Safety-conscious mindset with a commitment to following procedures

What we offer:

  • 39 hours per week (shift options available – standard shift is Monday 7:00am to Thursday 5:15pm)
  • 28 days holiday (24 days paid at basic rate ×1.33)
