We are now looking for a talented and forward-thinking Full Stack Software Engineer to join us in an exciting new role, helping to design, build and implement AI-powered software solutions while connecting our existing business systems.
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer who is passionate about AI, automation and software development.
You will play a key role in developing a new AI-driven software platform for Had-Fab, bringing together multiple systems, improving how information is shared and helping automate processes across the business.
Working closely with senior leadership and key departments, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of software development projects from initial concept through to implementation.

Key Responsibilities
Software Development & AI
- Design, develop and implement a new AI-powered software platform tailored to the needs of the business.
- Develop full stack applications, covering both front-end interfaces and back-end systems.
- Explore and implement AI technologies, including machine learning, large language models (LLMs) and intelligent automation.
- Build tools and applications that improve operational efficiency, reporting and decision-making.
- Develop scalable, secure and reliable software solutions that can grow alongside the business.
- Support the development of AI assistants and automated workflows across different departments.
Systems Integration & Automation
- Connect existing business systems to create a more streamlined and integrated technology environment.
- Develop and maintain APIs and integrations to enable systems to communicate and share information.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and reduce duplication of work.
- Improve data accessibility, accuracy and reporting across departments.
- Work with stakeholders to understand current systems, challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the integration of manufacturing, operational, HR, finance and business management systems.
- Take ownership of software development projects from initial design through to testing and implementation.
- Work closely with senior leadership to understand business requirements and develop practical solutions.
- Research and recommend new technologies, AI applications and development tools.
- Troubleshoot, maintain and continuously improve developed applications.
- Ensure appropriate standards of cybersecurity, data protection and system reliability.
- Support the business in developing a long‑term technology and AI strategy.
- Proven experience in a Full Stack Software Engineer or Software Developer role.
- Strong experience in front‑end and back‑end development.
- Experience developing APIs and integrating multiple software systems.
- Strong understanding of databases, data management and cloud‑based technologies.
- Experience developing or implementing AI‑powered applications, automation tools or AI integrations.
- Ability to take a project from concept through to a working solution.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and communicate with non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with OpenAI APIs, Azure AI or other AI development platforms.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Power Platform or similar cloud technologies.
- Experience integrating ERP, manufacturing or operational management systems.
- Knowledge of SQL databases, data pipelines and workflow automation.
- Experience working within engineering, manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Experience developing internal business applications or bespoke software platforms.
