We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of steel fabrication projects from tender through to completion. You’ll play a key role in delivering projects safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, while building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams. This is a hands-on role with real autonomy. You’ll work closely with Design, Engineering, Commercial and shop floor teams, managing programme, cost, risk and change across multiple live projects.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing projects end to end from pre-qualification and tender through to final close-out
- Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes using MS Project
- Leading project kick-off, review and close-out meetings
- Managing budgets, cashflow, cost forecasting and variations
- Controlling change including early warnings, CEs and contract amendments
- Identifying and mitigating project risks
- Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers to high safety and quality standards
- Supporting RAMS, ITPs and lift plans alongside delivery teams
- Carrying out site visits, supplier meetings and client updates
- Promoting continuous improvement and best practice
What we’re looking for:
- Proven project management experience with a strong delivery track record
- Confident communicator who can lead teams and manage stakeholders
- Highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable working autonomously
- Experience using MS Project
