Hackney Playbus is looking for an enthusiastic and relationship-focused Community Fundraiser to help grow our unrestricted income through community fundraising, corporate partnerships and individual giving. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new fundraising programme that will strengthen support for children under five and their families across Hackney.
About Hackney Playbus: Hackney Playbus is an early years charity providing play, learning and family support through our mobile Playbus and community-based sessions across East London. We're investing in new ways of engaging local communities, businesses and supporters to build a sustainable future for our charity.
You’ll help us to:
- Develop community fundraising campaigns
- Launch Friends of Hackney Playbus
- Build partnerships with local businesses and organisations
- Support our Big Give Christmas Challenge
- Grow individual giving and supporter engagement
- Develop a pipeline of future fundraising opportunities
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience in community fundraising or supporter engagement
- Excellent relationship-building and networking skills
- Knowledge of Hackney or experience working in diverse urban communities
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
- A passion for improving outcomes for children and families
During the six-month pilot you'll help to:
- Deliver community fundraising campaigns
