Temporary roofer required
PURPOSE OF JOB:
To support Hackney Council in providing throughout the London Borough of Hackney and other locations as directed, a high quality cyclical, planned and reactive repairs and maintenance service to occupied and unoccupied properties, public buildings and associated external areas.
Provide outstanding customer service and excellent standards of performance to the public and residents of Hackney.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Including but not limited to –
⦁ Trace and repair leaks to roofs. (leak detection)
⦁ Renew Tiles and slates (small areas)
⦁ Carry out repairs and maintenance to guttering and rainwater downpipes.and test gullies and report back findings. ( including using Sky vac).
⦁ Scaffold inspections.
⦁ Flashing repairs and renewals
⦁ Asphalt repairs – Hot gun and trowel
⦁ Felt repairs
⦁ Work with plumbers to carry out general plumbing work.
Deliver the highest level of workmanship in line with the current legislative standards, performance standards and in accordance with Hackney Council’s specifications and procedures.
