We are looking for a Digital Transformation Lead. The right candidate will:

  • Lead a programme to implement Hackney's Digital Strategy, ensuring robust and effective programme and project management is in place to support delivery of programme benefits.
  • Develop and implement a roadmap for Hackney's digital transformation.
  • Lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams to design, deliver and support digital change.
  • Advise and support Work stream leads, Corporate Directors and Directors to enable services to achieve objectives through a 'digital by design' approach to transformation.
  • Lead and embed cultural change required to support effective digital transformation.
  • Deliver, implement and support others to ensure that the Council's values and practices always meet our objectives for security, financial prudence and transparency, inclusion and sustainability.

Experience required:

  • Identifying and implementing digital solutions, which lead to service improvements and efficiencies.
  • Leading and managing complex digital transformation programmes in local authorities or other organisations.
  • Knowledge of the digital agenda within the public sector.

I am currently representing Hackney Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience.
