As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team at the Park Royal branch.
Key Responsibilities – Develop and maintain relationships with trade customers, including builders, contractors, and developers – Identify new business opportunities and drive area growth – Regularly visit customer sites and manage key accounts – Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy – Report sales activity, pipeline, and KPIs to management – Be available outside standard hours on occasion to support key customer needs and urgent account matters – Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery
Requirements
Proven sales experience within the Builders Merchants or construction supply sector – Strong knowledge of building materials and local construction markets – Knowledge and experience in purchasing from both first- and second-tier suppliers to ensure full order management through to approval – Proficient in Bistrack or other merchant-based ERP systems – Familiarity with CRM tools for tracking customer engagement and pipeline – Highly motivated, target-driven, and professional – Full UK driving licence; local area knowledge of West London and surrounding counties preferred – Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
