Are you a creative communicator with experience of reaching audiences that have a wide range of interests? Hackney Museum is seeking a Museum Marketing Officer to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, as we prepare to reopen in spring 2027. This is a pivotal role in a small team.
You will lead on delivering a range of marketing, communications and PR campaigns, content, activities and events across digital and print channels to reach new audiences and increase visitor footfall. The postholder will be highly digitally literate, with strong creative skills, excellent organisational ability and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of museum work.
This is a 27-month fixed-term contract working 21.6 hours per week. The role is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Hackney Council. Based in the heart of Hackney Central, you’ll help celebrate the worldwide roots of our residents in a museum space dedicated to empowering local voices.
