About the Role:
- Delivering SEND Reforms: Supporting the implementation of new legislation and frameworks to improve outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Assessment & Intervention: Assisting with observations, data analysis, and the delivery of evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborative Practice: Working within a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) to provide coordinated support to schools, families, and professionals.
- Research & Development: Contributing to research projects and disseminating findings to support inclusive practice.
Who We Are Looking For:
- A Psychology degree (or equivalent).
- At least 1 year of experience working with children and young people (this does not need to be continuous).
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Evidence of applying psychological theory to work with children and young people and an understanding of the Local Authority Educational Psychologist role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage workloads effectively.
- An understanding of SEND reforms and relevant legislation.
- A proactive approach to research, presentation, and intervention delivery.
