The project! As a Junior Designer you will assist in the end-to-end process from concept and design, through to production with a strong focus on development, across both the Shirting and Knitwear categories within the Hackett London collection.

What will the role entail?

  • Assist the Senior Design Manager in all design aspects.
  • Conduct trend research and analysis for multi product lines.
  • An understanding of technical packages (tech packs).
  • Manage the lab dip approval process for colour accuracy.
  • Maintain an organised fabric library.
  • Participate in fit sessions, document feedback, and update tech packs.
  • Ensure all internal samples are well-maintained and organised.
  • Manage the PLM system, including uploading tech packs and BOMs (following training).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • High level of computer literacy, knowledge of PLM and CAD.
  • Positive, focused, enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong eagerness to learn.
  • Passionate about menswear and British heritage design.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork.
