As a Junior Designer you will assist in the end-to-end process from concept and design through to production, with a strong focus on development across both the Shirting and Knitwear categories within the Hackett London collection.
What will the role entail?
- Assist the Senior Design Manager in all design aspects.
- Conduct trend research and analysis for multi-product lines.
- Have an understanding of technical packages (tech packs).
- Manage the lab dip approval process for colour accuracy.
- Assist in preparing presentation materials for design reviews.
- Maintain an organised fabric library.
- Participate in fit sessions, document feedback, and update tech packs.
- Ensure all internal samples are well-maintained and organised.
- Manage the PLM system, including uploading tech packs and BOMs (following training).
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar position.
- High level of computer literacy, knowledge of PLM and CAD.
- Positive, focused, enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong eagerness to learn.
- Passionate about menswear and British heritage design.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork.
