The project!

As an Office Handyman your role will be to assist the People Services Team ensuring smooth running of the two corporate offices and showrooms with special focus on maintenance.

What will the role entail?

  • Tkae care of delivery area in our main building (this involves boxes movement daily).
  • Act as an errand runner between the two sites.
  • Deliver incoming mail.
  • Complete routine checks and undertake small repairs when needed in both corporate sites (changing lightbulbs etc.)
  • Maintaining the UK repairs log for establishment department.
  • Point of contact for Hackett visitors.
  • Order materials for repairs, office stationery and basic canteen.
  • Work closely with our 3 rd party warehouse team to coordinate item movements between them and the Stores / Offices.
  • Provide administrative support to the UK People Services Team.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Entry level but experience in facilities related - nice to have
  • Interpersonal skills and good attitude (high people interaction)
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Knowledge for basic repairs and experience using basic tools such as screwdriver, small hammer, Allen key - nice to have
  • IT: Microsoft Office, Google Suit
  • Ability to work in a busy environment and good administration skills
  • Be able to lift weight up to 10kg
