Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service while working on technical projects that help shape vital water infrastructure? We're looking for a Technical Coordinator to support developers, customers, SLPs and NAVs through a range of water network applications and projects. This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical knowledge, stakeholder management and problem solving in a fast-paced environment.
As a Technical Coordinator, you'll act as a key point of contact for customers and stakeholders, managing applications and providing technical support across a range of developer services activities. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting customers through application processes for water mains, diversions, Self-Lay and NAV schemes.
Reviewing and vetting designs and quotations for developer services schemes.
Managing customer enquiries via phone, email and online portals.
Liaising with developers, contractors and internal teams to ensure projects progress smoothly.
Reviewing capacity checks and ensuring schemes meet industry and company standards.
Representing Southern Water at meetings with customers and external stakeholders.
Supporting the successful delivery of projects in line with regulatory requirements and service level commitments.
What we're looking for
We're seeking someone with:
Experience in a customer-facing or stakeholder-facing role.
Knowledge of the Water Industry preferred or other utilities
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organisation, prioritisation and problem-solving abilities.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver to challenging timescales.
A collaborative approach and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Good IT skills and confidence working across multiple systems.
A Full Uk driving license
Qualifications
Preferably Educated to HNC/D or Degree level in Civil Engineering or Water based subject
